好吧，我承認我是個到每個城市都會尋找星巴客的人。我是個熱飲狂，米國賣熱飲的地方真的很少很少很少。
如果有人也跟我一樣在各個米國大城市尋找過星巴客，一定也已經對每個建築物區塊都有至少一家星巴客這樣的事見怪不怪了(是的，比咱家鄉的便利商店還要便利)。有時候明明是同一個建築物，東南角的一家星巴客顯然沒辦法應付廣大的消費需求，所以西北角也要開一家。
米國喜劇演員（comedian，我個人覺得”單口相聲演員”更貼切一點)路易斯布萊客(Lewis Black)為此有一段很精彩的表演，實在相當有趣(我很驚訝設定的地點竟然是休士頓......)。

[00:43] Imagine my surprise, when I left the comedy club one day and walk to the end of the block and there on one corner was a Starbucks, and across the street from that Starbucks, in the exact same building as that Starbucks-there was a starbucks! I look back and forward, thinking the sun was playing tricks with my eyes, but there is a Starbucks across from a Starbucks! And THAT, my friends, is the end of Universe.
想像我的驚訝，有一天我從俱樂部離開，步行到街角看到一家星巴克。然而當我轉過頭看對街，發現-那個街角也有一家星巴克！我看看這家又看看那家，以為是陽光太強，所以我看錯了。但是──真的！星巴克的對面有一家星巴克！這個，朋友們，就是宇宙的末日。

There is only one group of people, and they are the ONLY group of people would make this joke of mine work. That’s people with Alzheimer’s. It has to be a group of people who can drink coffee for ALL day in a Starbucks, and then walk across the floor and open the door------Gentlemen, did my eyes deceive me? I believe that's a Starbucks. I think it's time that we have a cup of joe.
